Continuing the outstanding tradition of cross-country bicycling events begun by the American Lung Association® in the mid-1980's the American Lung Association® of the Northwest is proud to announce Big Ride Alaska, 2008. In July of 2008, a group of cyclists will depart Fairbanks to Whittier, Alaska via Valdez and Prince William Sound. Join us for a journey through the best of Alaska . . . Bicycling Extraordinary Alaskan Roads. This annual tour pedals from Fairbanks to Seward, via the heartland of Alaska. You will enjoy Denali's majestic wonders, the wildlife of Prince William Sound, quiet towns and scenic highways.
