Learn-n-Cruise with San Juan Sailing
Our week-long Learn-N-Cruise (Saturday 11am to Friday 1pm) is a 6-night, 7-day learning vacation in the San Juan Islands. The Learn-n-Cruise provides the opportunity to “explore the islands” and see the beautiful San Juans (the quaint ports, historic and newer resorts, secluded bays and coves along with their nature trails) in their full glory! We offer certification through the American Sailing Association for all three levels of certification during the week to achieve Bareboat Charter Certification, which at the successful completion of the course would enable you to charter/skipper a 40 foot sailboat anywhere in the world. The three courses (each 2 days) are Basic Sailing/ASA 101, Basic Coastal Cruising/ASA 103 and Bareboat Charter Certification/ASA 104. All of your provisioning is provided during the week, with the exception of one night you’ll eat ashore at Friday Harbor and enjoy the local island environment and cuisine.
Meeting Up Instructions
Plan to arrive at our office at 11:00 am the Saturday that your course begins. You'll spend the next week out in the beautiful San Juan Islands and return to Bellingham the following Friday by 1:00 pm.
